Vectorworks for Lighting Designers
This workshop will serve as an introduction to the techniques and workflow of computer assisted drafting (CAD) using Vectorworks for theatre design – in particular Vectorworks Spotlight. This workshop will consist of a short lecture regarding the principles of the software. Attendees will then be taken through the creation of a document template, short drawing, as well as the publishing process of this drawing. It is recommended that attendees follow along on the software where possible. Use of an external monitor and mouse are strongly encouraged.

Kaileigh KrysztofiakKaileigh Krysztofiak is a Lighting Designer, Instructor/Teacher and General Manager for live entertainment and events, based in Ontario Canada. Kaileigh has designed and managed for many of the country’s leading regional theatres and festivals. They are an alumna and instructor of the National Theatre School of Canada, an instructor at the Toronto Metropolitan University, as well as a member of IATSE Local 659 and the Associated Designers of Canada.
