Drawing in Light: An Introduction to Vectorworks for Lighting Design PART 1 and 2

Learn how Vectorworks can support the lighting design process from early planning through technical documentation. This introductory workshop will cover setting up a drawing, navigating the workspace, importing theatre plans, placing and organizing lighting instruments, creating lighting plots, and producing clear paperwork for the production team. Participants will gain practical tools for developing accurate, efficient, and professional lighting-design documents. No previous Vectorworks experience is required.
Workshops are open to everyone, both members and non-members, across Canada and beyond. Attendance is free of charge. Advance registration is required.

Kaileigh KrysztofiakKaileigh Krysztofiak is a Lighting Designer, Instructor/Teacher and General Manager for live entertainment and events, based in Ontario Canada. Kaileigh has designed and managed for many of the country’s leading regional theatres and festivals. They are an alumna and instructor of the National Theatre School of Canada, an instructor at the Toronto Metropolitan University, as well as a member of IATSE Local 659 and the Associated Designers of Canada.
