DESCRIPTION:Single Thread Theatre, hosts of the annual Performance and XR Conference, has been actively working in extended reality and virtual 3D spaces since the beginning of 2020. Artistic Director Liam Karry, XR Producer Jake Runeckles, and Events and Operations Manager Justine Katerenchuk discuss their approach to building immersive environments that are accessible, and comfortable to work in.\nIn this one hour discussion, they will address practices for working with actors, designers, developers, and stage managers within Social VR environments, as well as important considerations for audience engagement, accessibility, and onboarding when creating digital works.\n
